Abstract
This study aimed to investigate the factors affecting work performance and compare the morale and encouragement between university support staffs employed by the annual government statement of expenditure and university support staffs employed by the fund budget revenue of Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University. The variables were classified by demographic variables, job security, sufficient income and fringe benefits, relation with supervisors and coworkers, and appropriate competence of performing tasks.
Introduction: The morale of personnel is crucial for organizational success. Executives and people at all levels should be aware of and pay special attention to staff morale. Good management should not overlook the encouragement and motivation of personnel.
Research Objectives: 1. To study the morale of university support staffs employed by the annual government statement and the university support staffs employed by the fund budget revenue.
2. To compare the morale between the university support staffs employed by the annual government statement and the university support staffs employed by the fund budget revenue.
Methodology: The study used a systematic random sampling method to select 165 university support staffs. The data analysis employed frequencies, percentages, and standard deviations. The t-test was used to test the differences in means of morale levels between two variables, and the F-test was used for one-way variance analysis.
Findings: The study found that the morale and workplace of the staff were at a very good level. Comparing the level of morale and workplace of the staff classified by gender, it was found that there was no difference. However, considering the variables classified by age, it was found that there were some differences.
